More Than Wheels (formerly known as Bonnie CLAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making car ownership accessible and economical for people of all financial backgrounds. Since 2001, More Than Wheels has helped over 520 people in the states of New Hampshire and Vermont purchase automobiles, the majority of which are brand new, low-emission, and fuel-efficient vehicles. |

The mission of the Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County is to provide a safe environment for the evaluation of alleged child abuse, primarily sexual abuse for children 3 to 18 years of age. Through the collaboration of public, private and community partners we work to ensure the safety, health and well being of abused children. Accredited by the National Children's Alliance, the CACRC collaborates with 39 police departments, 3 DCYF offices, Rockingham County Attorney's Office, mental health providers, pediatricians and schools. With locations in Portsmouth and Derry, we provide a child friendly setting for the evaluation of child abuse and exploitation, coordinate services for victims and families as well as conduct community education on child abuse prevention. |

CCCC provides a nurturing and stimulating early learning environment for children, ages 8 weeks through 12 years, including before and after school care. The mission of CCCC is focused: to provide high quality child care, to give priority to children from families that are in need, and to take a leadership role in advocating for children. CCCC serves 279 children annually.

Families First Health and Support Center, the Seacoast Region's community health center, provides a broad range of health and family support services to individuals and families, regardless of ability to pay. Services include affordable primary, prenatal and oral health care; family support and education groups; home visiting for families facing special challanges; and mobile health care for people who are homeless. Families First serves more than 5,000 people each year.

Head Start is a comprehensive child development program that serves pre-school age children (beginning with social age 3 years old) and their families through activities that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally and physically. A program of Rockingham Community Action, Head Start combines early education for Portsmouth area children with health screenings, family and parenting support, and resource and referral to other community services.

Community Services-MFA manages two prescription assistance programs for low-income adults. Medical Financial Assistance provides free short-term emergency prescriptions and Portsmouth Regional Prescription Assistance partners with Portsmouth Regional Hospital and staff to access free prescriptions for long-term, chronic conditions.

For Seacoast teens, New Heights is hwere they can find fun, healthy and engaging activities. Open to all Seacoast adolescents from 6th - 12th grade, the New Heights Teen Center and its adventure and summer programs provide a confortable environment where teens learn to push their bodies, expand their minds and find the inner strength they will need throughout life.

The Portsmouth Early Education Program provides special education services to children 3-5 years of age who are identified as educationally disabled. PEEP also coordinates the Community School, an inclusive preschool model for children that leverages the ability of special education staff to serve all children in classrooms, including those with and without special needs.

RCA's Portsmouth Adult Basic Education Program (ABE) provides quality basic education services to improve the economic and educational well being of adults in the greater Portsmouth community. Day and evening classroom instruction is available for adults in need of basic literacy skills in reading, writing, and math along with pre-GED and GED preparation and English for speakers of other languages (ESOL). Access to a range of community resources, referral services, and transition support into post secondary/vocational programs are available to improve lives and create more effective lifelong learners, family members, works and citizens.

Krempels Center is a nonprofot organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with brain injury from trauma, tumor or stroke. In partnership with universities and community volunteers, Krempels Center offers programs that engage members in meaningful and productive experiences and provides ongoing support and resources to those impacted by brain injury. in addition, the organization's community outreach initiative provides education to the public about brain injury and brain injury prevention. |
