"Kathy"s Story
"Kathy" had a good job in the technology field and good health insurance. Then, she suddenly became disabled and could no longer work.
"Suddenly, I found out what happens when you don't have health insurance," she says. "No one wanted to take me, and my medications were so expensive I couldn't fill them. My front tooth chipped and I could not afford to get it fixed. A friend told me about Families First. I was leery of going to a 'clinic' - but what a surprise was in store for me!"
"It turns out this is the finest medical and dental care and prescription help I have ever received," she says. "This one facility meets all my needs, and what a great model if more health care could be this way. It is like a wheel, and all the care professionals are the spokes. At the center is my overall health, which is great today, thanks to Families First."
